Gnarf Our titular character. He's naïve, but well-intentioned and excited to learn all about the punk world. He wants to go out and experience everything, but at the same time, he sometimes gets anxious, feeling a bit like a fish out of water on Earth. Despite this, Gnarf loves making new friends, even if his unfamiliarity with Earth's ins and outs can sometimes put him at odds with others.

Aaron Acosta Gnarf's roommate and best friend. He works a lot and is always tired, but also assumes a lot of the responsibilities in the house, much to his own dismay (despite this role being self-inflicted). He tries his best to teach Gnarf good values, but the others in the house make this difficult sometimes…And Aaron isn't perfect himself. He'll make a show of being annoyed with Gnarf's antics but secretly appreciates Gnarf's pureheartedness.

Gabriel Ruiz Gabe is a longtime friend of Aaron's. He's rough around the edges and kind of a jerk, though he's mostly harmless. He does a lot of smoking and drinking, and Aaron worries he's a bad influence on Gnarf...Especially considering one of Gabe's favorite things to do is egg on Gnarf and encourage his every whim because "it'll be funny." This is a typical tactic of Gabe's, though...Mask everything with "just kidding" because being sincere and vulnerable is for chumps.

Nicole Phan Nicole is a very Normal and Nice friend, though she's a little shy. She thinks Gnarf is quite funny and charming, and does her best to be a good friend and look out for everyone. She's that friend who always has what you need in her bag (ibuprofen, bandaids, etc). In the same vein, she shares some burden with Aaron as the "responsible friend", though she's not as uptight as him. When she's scorned, though, she's got a bit of a temper...
